What makes protected email better?

With ordinary email, anyone could potentially read your emails - including your email provider or hackers - and anyone can fake the sender. ProtectMyMail fixes all of that, while you continue to use your existing email.

Zero-access encryption

Your mail is encrypted in your browser before it leaves. The encrypted text is then split across several servers to prevent anyone from seeing the text. No provider, and no server, can read it. Not even us.

Verified senders

Between ProtectMyMail users it is proven who sent a message: the sender showed they control that mailbox. Spoofing is detected when the sender cannot be cryptographically verified.

Altered mail caught

If an invoice or bank number is changed in transit, the fingerprints no longer match and you are warned before you act.

Is my mail really private?

Yes. Messages are encrypted in your browser before they leave it, using AES-256-GCM with per-recipient X25519 key exchange. The encrypted text is then split across several servers, so no one can read your mail, and neither can we.

Can I still email people on Gmail?

Yes. A gateway bridges to ordinary email. Outgoing mail leaves signed (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) so it doesn't land in spam; incoming ordinary mail is checked and marked so you know if you need to pay attention.

Is there a free trial? Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You start with a 4-week free trial, and no credit card is needed to begin. Billing is then monthly or yearly (two months free on the yearly plan) with no lock-in. Cancel whenever you like and your plan runs to the end of the paid period. Your keys and your mail remain yours.
